parent teacher association

The PTA of PS 84 is an organization of families and teachers working together to support the vision of the school through fundraising and the implementation of programs and initiatives.

Activities are planned to foster a sense of community and to ensure that our children and teachers have the resources they need to succeed and enjoy learning.

General PTA meetings

Held usually the third Wednesday of every month, alternating between 8:30am and 6pm in the auditorium. The meetings usually last between 1 and 1.5 hours. Childcare is provided, as well as pizza for the children. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings, and it’s the perfect time to get informed about what’s going on at school, to bring ideas, or for your voice to be heard by the school administration.

Executive board meetings

Held the first Wednesday of every month at 8am in the PTA room. These meetings are open to all parents, please email if you would like to attend.

Committee meetings

Held throughout the year and will be posted on the online calendar, newsletter, and Facebook. Everyone is welcome.
